Gloria Fredericks brings a broad and comprehensive system, technical and later ministerial background to the forefront. Even before the ISO - International Standardization Organization - was implemented, she was introduced to the AQAP military systems where Gloria has served for thirteen (13) years as a Quality Engineer in the Ministry of Defense in the Netherlands in the Royal Dutch Aemy.
She was one of the first pioneers to implement the ISO systems at twenty-one (21) branches within the Defense Logistics. She became one of Europe's first registered ISO auditors and has since trained and developed the skills of potential auditors to lead auditors within organizations.
"It was a tough world and sometimes still is for female, but being exposed to so many males in the Ministry of defense in the Netherlands and later in the Motor Industry in South Africa, I can stand my ground. I do not believe that I am better or worse than any other human being, but unique - just as everybody else. I thoroughly appreciate who I am."
Upon completing the "Kwaliteitskundige Opleiding" at the KDI in Rotterdam, she decided to explore education in another field and started a Doctor in Philosophy in the Netherlands, which she completed through Teamwork Impact University in the United States of America.
Gloria has a wealth of experience as project leader in companies, churches and communities, but even as Ordained International Church Minister, is choosing to fulfill her passion in the corporate world. She believes that it is here where she can make a difference and impact people's lives for the good.
Gloria enjoys the combination of theological, psychological and philosophical theories with practical business applications.
"As the establisher of management systems, I do not believe that the systems make the organization, but that people do. I am a great believer in process ownership rather than product inspection."
Gloria left South Africa in 1976 to explore life outside the apartheids Regime. Her supposedly three (3) month tour of Europe has changed her life significantly and she only returned to South Africa twenty (20) years later.
"I believe in destiny and in taking risks" she says "and no experience - whether good or bad - is ever a loss, but rather a teaching." It is these life lessons that make her who she is: goal.oriented, motivated, driven, tough but fair.
Having the wonderful opportunity to experience many corporate and world cultures through work and travel, Gloria believes that she can make a positive impact on a company's change process. These results span from the initial identification of the problem through to the execution of the solution.
Gloria is an accredited Business Coach and Mentor and a registered member of ICF. She is also an accredited SETA trainer.
Gloria thank you for assisting us to bring about change in our organization during the
implementation of the Food Safety Management System; ISO 22000. Through the
empowering of our people and by allowing them to participate in the developing of the
system, we now have a better understanding of the role and significance of each
individual and a higher commitment to efficiency."Ivan de Klerk - CEO, Silicone & Technical Products (Pty) Ltdb
